Charlie's Bar A F C was formed in 2013 and is sponsored by the local pub of the same name. The pub is situated in the mains street of Ardrossan called Glasgow Street and is owned by Billy and Molly Woods, its a good time to thank them and all there staff for the support they give to the team.

Initially the team started of playing in the North Ayrshire Sunday Amateur Football League but after that leagues demise at the end of season 2013 the team succesfully applied to join the WASAFA league.

the first season has proved to be a succesful season for the club finishing as runners up in the 2nd division and gaining one of the two automatic promotion places and also finishing as runners up in the League Cup.

A tough test awaits the players in the 1st division but we are looking forward to the challenge.

The West Ayrshire Sunday Amateur Football Association (WASAFA) is a football league for amateur teams in West Ayrshire, Scotland. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has 12 teams competing in the 1st Division.

The WASAFA season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Ayrshire Amateur Football Association, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the 2nd Division.

The WASAFA cup is also held each season, with the winners qualifying for the Scottish Amateur Cup.
