The club was founded in 1919 as Stewarts & Lloyds Works FC. They changed their name to Corby Stewart & Lloyds FC in 1972. The reserves team was formed in the early 1970s.
The club has won the Northants Combination League Premier Division on four occasions: 1981-82, 1982-83, 1985-86, and 2013-14. They have also won the Northants Combination League Cup on three occasions: 1980-81, 1981-82, and 1985-86.
Current season
The reserves team is currently in their first season in the Northants Combination League Premier Division. They have played one game so far, a 4-0 defeat to Crick Athletic Reserves on 19 August 2023.
