Evolution FC - 2

Evolution FC are a Sunday League football team made up of 27 team members.

The team is from Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom and play in the Thanet Sunday League Division 2 2.

Evolution FC started using TeamStats in January 2012 and so far have created match reports and statistics for 4 games.

EVOLUTION FC are not a new team we were Southwich FC and have been in the league for the past 6 seasons.

In the 2014/15 we narrowly missed out on the opportunity of promotion by a single point, and we are looking to progress this season.

We have now evolved into a strong squad of players, with 29 registered, it is difficult sometimes as you know there will be some that do not get a lot of game time but over the long hard season we will have Family Committments, Injuries, Illness and it is at these times that those on the fringes take their opportunity to show the Gaffa and their team mates their ability.

The Gaffa as he likes to be called is someone that is headstrong with a true playing belief, formations are something that he uses to balance the team with those available, ability is something that he looks for and will give a chance to anyone who shows ability.

However we are looking for a winning side with a winning mentality it is no use just going out for a kick about yes it is on Sunday Football but the more competative you are the more enjoyable that game of football is, the more you win on a Sunday the better week you have at work or with the family the aim is to be WINNERS and based on last season after a sticky start Evolution went onto a 15 unbeaten run finishing with a Cup performance and a TROPHY.

This season again started somewhat lazy but after a quick reshuffle and getting a couple of players back from Suspention and holidays the squad have now started performing and with a run of four game unbeaten anything is possible
