Marstons was established by Shaun whitehead in 2010, They were first sponsored by the Poverina at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season, but later moved on to be sponsored by the normanby pub for the remainder of the season. When the season ended marstons ran into financial problems with the normanby pub, Resulting in a fold of the sponsor.
After a couple of month of searching marstons came across a new sponsor in the form of the Buccaneer, who will hopefully stand by marstons football club.
