The Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League is a football league for children aged 7 to 16 years old. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 200 teams.
The league is divided into different divisions, based on the age and ability of the teams. The top division is the Premier Division, and the bottom division is the Development Division.
The league season runs from September to May, and each team plays each other team in their division twice. The top two teams in each division are promoted to the next division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the next division.
The league also has a cup competition, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, and the winner of the cup is crowned the league cup champions.
