Wakefield AFC Women is a women's football team based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England. They currently play in the North East Regional Women's Football League, the second tier of women's football in England.
The team was formed in 1995 and has since won the North East Regional Women's Football League title on three occasions (2004, 2005, and 2012). They have also reached the final of the FA Women's Cup on two occasions, losing to Arsenal in 2004 and Chelsea in 2012.
The team's home ground is Belle Vue, which is also the home of Wakefield Trinity rugby league club. The team's current manager is Paul Dewhirst.

The North East Regional Women's Football League is a regional women's football league in England. It is the second tier of women's football in the North East of England, below the Women's National League Northern Division.
The league was formed in 1993 and currently consists of 14 teams. The teams play each other twice, once home and once away, with the top two teams at the end of the season being promoted to the Women's National League Northern Division.
The current champions of the North East Regional Women's Football League are Sunderland AFC Ladies.
