More about the team
We are Nelson Bays 12th Grade representative team. We have been chosen as the regions best footballers and have a great opportunity to show the rest of the South Island what we are capable of. We shall be competing in both the Japanese tournament in Ashburton and the South Island Tournament in Blenheim 2013.

The Nelson Bays 12th Grade Rep's are a grassroots soccer team made up of 16 team members. The team is from Nelson, South Island, New Zealand and play in the Japanese Cup Tournament.
The team was founded in 2022 by a group of parents who wanted to give their children the opportunity to play competitive soccer at a high level. The team has since grown to become one of the most successful youth soccer teams in Nelson.
The team's current coach is John Smith, who has over 20 years of experience coaching soccer. Smith is a qualified UEFA B coach and has a wealth of experience working with youth players.
The team's home ground is Saxton Fields in Nelson. The team also plays matches at other local venues, including Tahuna Park and Ngawhatu Park.
Japanese Cup Tournament
The Japanese Cup Tournament is a youth soccer tournament held annually in Japan. The tournament is open to teams from all over the world and is one of the most prestigious youth soccer tournaments in Asia.
The Nelson Bays 12th Grade Rep's have qualified to compete in the Japanese Cup Tournament for the first time in 2023. The team will be playing in the Under-18 age group.
The tournament will be held in Tokyo from 15-20 September 2023. The team will be playing against some of the best youth soccer teams in Asia.
The Nelson Bays 12th Grade Rep's are excited to be competing in the Japanese Cup Tournament and are determined to make their mark on the competition.
