OXNARD UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB EST.2008 One year ago a group of talented football/soccer players were joned together by family and friends. OUFC core players came from a team called THE RESCUE RANGERS in the FALL 2007. Luis Melgoza, Matthew Solorio, Eric Ayala and John Paul Melgoza. These 4 players plus 8 more boys from other teams came together to form what is today OUFC. Playing in a higher division U8 in 2008. Was very challenging for the young boys. The boys fought hard playing older boys, but the size and strength was really a big factor. Although our skills were superior to other teams. Changes were made in the fall 2008 and we decided to play in U7 division. What a great move. The boys were now playing at there age level. The team did excellent, 10 wins 2 ties during the season. OUFC was crowned Champion, beating San Miguel 5-3 in the final. PAST ROSTER PLAYERS COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITH OUT YOU GUYS!
