Border Amateur Football League
The Border Amateur Football League is a football league for amateur clubs in the Scottish Borders. The league was founded in 1936 and is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association.
History
The Border Amateur Football League was founded in 1936 by a group of clubs in the Scottish Borders. The league initially had 10 clubs, but has grown to 30 clubs today.
The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years, with Hawick United being the most successful team, having won the title 14 times.
Current season
The current season is the 2023-2024 season. The league is divided into two divisions, the A Division and the B Division.
The A Division is currently being led by Langholm Legion, with Hawick United in second place. The B Division is currently being led by Gala Hotspur, with Jed Legion in second place.
