Introduction

The Japan Amateur Football League (Jpafsm) is the top amateur football league in Japan. It is organized by the Japan Football Association (JFA) and consists of 16 teams. The league was founded in 1992 and is currently sponsored by J.League.

Structure

The Jpafsm season runs from April to December. Each team plays each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the J3 League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Regional Leagues.
