The SYL is affiliated with the Football Association (FA). This means that the league's rules and regulations are aligned with the FA's guidelines. The SYL also uses the FA's grading system to assess the standard of its teams.
League Structure
The SYL is divided into a number of divisions, depending on the age and ability of the players. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the Division One, Division Two, and so on. There are also regional divisions for teams in the south, west, and north of Surrey.
