Bridge Target’s 100% record continues as they beat Frontline Giants.

To say that Bridge Target have been excellent is an understatement but if you compare the stats with that of Chelsea’s (Barclays Premier League Champions) you will understand what we mean by how excellent they have been. Chelsea has conceded 17 league goals while Bridge Target has scored 17 league goals and conceded 2 all against Frontline. Was King’s absence felt? One can argue so. Could the Big Bad King (BBK) have kept a clean sheet he certainly thinks so and we’re not going to try and take that away from him. After all he has kept 3 clean sheets.

This team is just a joy to watch the way they play the incisiveness and directness just shows one thing they want it more than their opponents and that will make a huge difference in the title challenge. I have not stopped thinking about Aaron’s long range pass to Gerald and the young man ran in with the ball leaving Frontline’s defence catching their breathe they simply could not keep up and a lovely pass to Liam all he (Liam) needed to do was to tap in to give them a much needed lead. Speaking about Liam all 3 goals he has scored so far were all assisted by Gerald. Now what does that tell you? I’d say Liam owes the man a pint. What about the little Ryan the winger has settled in properly hasn’t he? He has scored 4 goals in 2 matches.

7 Goals in 4 matches for Christian

A striker’s job is to score goals well he is doing his job alright. He is one of them players that won’t do anything in the game absolutely anything but out of nowhere he’d score a screamer in a blink of an eye is that enough? Well compare that stat 7 goals in 4 matches with the likes of Aguero and Lewandowski and then come back and ask me that question. Goals win games and his goals undeniably win games for Target.

Tom Pye came close to scoring a screamer his first ever goal for Target. Oh well Thomas nearly can’t kill a bird. Keep your head up maybe just maybe. Now I don’t know if you saw it but Christian’s pass to Mark he ran through and was one on one with the keeper and he missed. Were you surprised? Okay I was not. Having said that, let’s not take away the fact that he had a good game I mean his pass inside the box created the chance for Gerald shoot which deflected off Frontline player’s and went into the net. Again Mark’s energy and determination pays off. He may have missed a one on one but the determination to get in does count.

Target’s 5 goals all scored in first half.

Surprisingly so, Target scored all 5 in first half when they were 2-0 up Frontline scored a decent free kick to make it 2-1 and Target made it 4-1 in 10 minutes later. It is simple these boys know they can score when they want. Target lost the game 1-0 in second half. Did they get complacent? I doubt that but Frontline are worthy opponents they found their rhythm and were closing in a lot more better but it was already late.

What about Craig Hume? He played as a central midfield and he did an excellent job he was dropping off tackling and winning the ball back. Meanwhile good news Target fans Superb Shay (SS) in an exclusive interview said he has 10 more years left in him so if my calculations are right he’d be playing till he’s 60 hmm. Well hopefully not in a wheelchair.

Farewell to Tunde who leaves Target to play for the National Service in his home country Nigeria at 30 he still has 5 years left in him. He played with Beckham, Giggs. Winning the UCL, PL and Merseyside Christian League and also coming through the youths of Madrid. He has decided to return to Nigeria what a patriotic guy? Just like Tevez who played in Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus etc he still left to play in Boca Juniors well people it’s not always about the money. We all in Target wish you well Sir. Don’t be a stranger.
