Onwards & Upwards Well done today lads, another 3-1 win and we did it without some of our best players, the guys that stood in today really steped up and made their claim.

1st Half: We started a little slowly as we do most games and gave Hitchers way to much time on the ball and if they were a better team they may well have punished us. As it was they dident and we stared to get a foothold in the game. Dan G played some lovlely balls around the pitch from LB, a position which he seems determaned to make his own and with performances like today he looks a shoo in for the Number 3 shirt come September. Noel's passing abilliby and Kits workrate also stood out in the 1st half, Kit providing the assists for both Lee's goals which he finished with style, something which he did not do last season but hopfully will from now on. The 1st half finished 2-0 and for the last 10mins of the half we were playing some really good football, straight off the training ground.

Hi-Lights of the half: Lee's x2 goals, Dan G's performance, Nick's encounter with the Karate Kid lmao, Kit and Sam's work in the middle.

Lo-Lights of the half: Yaw's Hesky like miss, Nick's injury, Wasting posession by playing slopply brainless passes, Dean's little hissy fit wilst running the line lol.

HALF TIME: and we made 3 changes, Sam & Yaw had to shoot off(church or something) so we made 2 straight swaps with Leon and Dean. And Nick also had to come off as he picked up an injury in his litte handbags @ dawn thingy with Karate kid, So SUPER STAR PLAYER MANAGER(me) had to come on @ CB, a position in which i am pretty hopeless.

2nd Half: We stared off slow again at the start of the 2nd half and this is something we really have to stop doing, after 10mins Hitchers scored a easy goal after Dan(bless him) decided he wanted to do a Mason on the edge of his own box, the ball was pinched and we conceded a soft goal. ater that we stated to get into our stride again and created plenty of chances to wrap the game up, but due to some dodgy offside calls and some rather messing finishing it dident quite happen. Dean finaly finished things off with a great finish from a route 1 pass straight tho the middle From Jack. Lee could of had a couple more and even i had 3 chances to get on the score sheet but my finishing was lousy.

Hi-lights of 2nd half: Deans goal, Mason's running, Kits Quality perfoamance in the middle, Noels vision, seeing Mr fat arse Gaffer (me again) stuggling for breath after a camio outing.

Lo-lights of 2nd half: Conceding a sloppy goal, wasting to many chances.

Overall final thought: We still have things to work on such as comunication, orgainisation and workrate. But overall im happy with both wins so far in our preparation for september. Next game i really want a clean sheet tho as the 2 goals we have conceded so far were lame and unlucky. Whos needs Doyley ay lol. Good job Lads!!!
