Jack Willan was looking to end his nightmares after the horror show of all horror shows in this games previous encounter last season. The superior tactical nowse now coming from the touchline saw Greening pick up the ball 30 yards from goal and go on a Roy Wegerle style run through 3 Eastfield players and finishing like a dream leaving Menan on cloud 9 and Eastfield shattered. The Menan defence were holding as firm as a Lucy Pindar nip on a cold winters day when suddenly a half cleared Dorey poke fell to Mccoubrey, the scurge of Menan in the last battle, he jinked his way through and found the corner of the net to set up a grand stand finish. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">It was Menan who finished the strongest, striking the post and having a goal ruled out for an infringement that only Bill Pashby and his packet of fancy power will know why. Dobson was unlucky not to go out on a high as he drew another top save from the Eastfield stopper who flung himself full stretch Superman style to deny the buck toothed Menan hit man. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The save of the game came from Tony Ross as he made sure Menan brought home the proverbial bacon as the ageing goal tender showed why he is undoubtedly football mundials top shot stopper (and 17th best thrower) with a wonder save late on.
