Away league match played on 17 January 2015.
Kicked off at 1:30 PM

Riley's drop to bottom of the table after a disapointing performance away at Overseal, from the start of the match Overseal showed they wanted it more, as for Riley's some people didnt even show up. 2 goals either half helped overseal to a comfortable win, their goals 2 brillent long range strikes nothing could be done about, an open goal and a defensive howler crossing across his own box, consolation goal 2 minutes from time for Riley's FC, Riley's FC also had 2 goals ruled out, one wrongly for offside, the other the referee failing to blow his whistle on a subsitution and Riley's played on. further adding to thier curse of being denied rightful goals by officals.

Fouls Won 4 3

Ben Emery- Couldn't do anything about 3 of the goals, lost a gamble running out to win a ball leading to 3rd goal, kicks were off on occasions, condition of the pitch didnt make it easy.

Stephen Jackson- Had a perfect 1st half which included covering his centre backs and a goal line clearance, until the 43rd minute needlessly crossed a ball across his own box setting up a goal for the opposition, after that he never recovered his game.

Ben Robinson- Good strong and solid, need to learn not to give away needless corners and throw ins

Steve Robey- Held his position well, got stuck in on the tackles, consistant work with Ben Robinson

Danny parkes- Solid 1st half working up and down the right wing, becoming a throw in machine, got caught out which led to Keepers gamble and 3rd goal.

Louis Burger- Looked too out of shape, did well putting on pressure, but was missing tracking players sub'ed at half time.

Daniel Brittian- Had a good chance at goal with his head. Used his head to flick on balls, looked uncomfortable in the middle on the day was missed on the left mid.

Ben Rex-Bryd- Ran his ass off all over the pitch, but lost his head and focus upsetting team mates, asked to be sub'ed due to teams poor performance which management refused to grant.

Anthony Crofts- Broke club rules by not declaring he was not well enough to play, let his team down with his performance, his pass completion rate is around 4%.

Laurence Scully- In 1st half great footwork and commitment on the right holding the ball up. Had a quiet 2nd half however scored a consolation at end of the game, had the ball in the back of the net 2 other times, one for offside? the other ref failure to stop play for a sub? almost a hatrick?

Jamie Allen- positioning was great but didnt recieve enough service, seemed lost at times during the game, plays better as a lone striker, needs to adapt and train to play with a striking partner. Lost his balls by the end of the game in a rough tackle.

Josh Beech- Yellow Carded for not declaring the sub at half time (oops), worked the left wing well, but cross completiton was 50/50, has establlished himself on right side of midfield looked out of place on the left.

Luke Steeden- Made his debut, came on for Anthony Crofts into a poor performance from his new team, ran the left side made a few tackles, but couldn't do anything to change the game, will have to wait till next time to get his moment to shine.

Lee Ford- Came on for exchausted Jackson for final 15 minutes, stayed behind the ball strong, put in some good tackles. no goal while he was on the pitch. +

Slip award of the week goes to Graham Haynes while the linesman tried to reach a ball in the air with his heel, slipped in excellent fashion to the ground, and not a single person on that pitch or pitchside missed it. Slip rating 9/10

Team Movement 5/10 Movement was there, product was missing

Team Mentality 2/10 For bottom 2 teams to be facing to decide at the end of the match who would be bottom, focus was needed and winning mentalility that has been shown in most of Riley's FC matches, Riley's didnt turn up today.

Team Communication 3/10 It was so quiet a little child could be heard at the opposite end of the pitch, and when things were heard nothing postive was being exchanged.

Team Vision 6/10 crosses were being uted well looking for players and defenders were pressuring all dangers. but team pass completion was easily less than 50%

Team morale 2/10 too few players seemed up for it, and as the match went on heads were down, by the end of the match team morale was at its lowest point this season.

Team Work 4/10 Team work begins off the pitch and doesnt just involve football, its about getting to the game, warming up together and stepping aside if you think you cant play to your peak through injury or illness, come the came its working your position only, doing your job in your area so you can fully function as a tight unit. theres were moments in the match, but thats all it was moments.

The facts presented in this report are close to accurate as possible through the word of Craig Poxon (Riley's FC Manager/ Coach). It is his job to watch, evaluate and train as best he can with the comitment off his squad, And all positive and negative feedback is portrayed to further push, develope and educate ones self to continue to think about their role and better their performances for future reference....
