Home league match played on 02 October 2011.
Kicked off at 12:30 PM

Martin was missed on Sunday! He was temporarily replaced by Alex from the Over 58 division! The first half was all RSF. 3 goals were scored, and all was good in the ranch! The 2nd half...not so good! Vaqueros put in 3 goals, but thanks to a hatty by Carlos, RSF edged them out 4-3! In IR news, George (new player) had to sit out causing RSF to play short 2 players for the 2nd half!

01- Goal by Matt (Assist Gery)
02 - Goal by Carlos (Assist Ryan #2)
03 - Goal by Carlos (Assist Ryan #2)
04 - Goal by Carlos (Assist Ryan #2)

Our next two games coming up will probably be our toughest (Persopolis and Blues FC) they both gave us tough games last year so lets make sure we everyone out there!

See you all on Saturday for the Luncheon!

-From the skipper-

The manning of the last Sundays game was a disaster. Of 16 active players on our roster we had ten players show up. We were lucky to have Alex, who just finished his game, to stay over to help us. THE NO-SHOWS were Andre, Bobby, & Martin.

We scored three or four goals soon after the game started. George re-injured 10 to 15 minutes into the game. We played with 10 players the rest of the game against the aVaqueros's 13 or 14 players.

They started scoring soon after the second half started. We barely won with a score of four to three. IT'S AGOOD THING WE PLAYED SO WELL AND IT'S  good the other coach, ref. and I decided to make the second half short by 10 minutes.

This was one game we could have lost.  I'M SURE .....ALEX

One important comment I want to make is: we all want to score but we each need to play our position or we expose ourselves to counter attack. Defense can win the game.

Defense can win the games for us.

The next game is 12:30 @ Robb #8. Andy will send out directions

Please let me know before Friday noon, if you will not be there. That will give me time to find replacements, even if I have to steal them.

Everyone played well and we won.

I'm sure many of you agree that Alex saved the day & he will get the MVP.
