Well I guess we better start with the positives the (could be) super scuns had more then 1 sub for the 1st time all season and Gaz Dixon makes his full debut, a player that could have a good season ahead if his little old legs let him and a good addition to the galacticos!!!!
The game starts in the same way as most weeks scuns have a good share of possession yet don’t look like they really believe they can get a firm grip of the game or dominate in a way they are good enough to do, the if we don’t score in 10 minutes we will lose mind-set seems to set in and even with an attacking formation with 3 up top they sit into defending deep with only 'wince le blanc' looking happy out of the back 3, and not been able to turn the opponents defence where they looked the most venerable would come back to bite, a simple boot into the corner for someone to chase is not always a bad ball!!
On the odd occasion scuns did get forward they where foiled one way or the other but if truth be told the 3 forwards where starved of any quality to feed on Jim 'Quinn' martin did his best to make a nuisance with his presence and didn’t look to happy when simmo 'le boeuf' had to be subbed and he had to go be a make shift in the already make shift back 3!!
Rids ‘saha’ came on with a point to prove having been bombed but it wasn’t a game to be enjoyed by many in red, BJ took a quick corner to mardy cunt Chapman who nearly played a nice 1-2 with bell but it didn’t quite workout this was to set the tone for everything scuns tried, when the ball did drop in there box we looked on our heels and was always 2nd best owen Zizu felt the hook at half time for Dave iv never been a forward makelele to somehow go play upfront!!!!!! a change of formation or at least players to know where they where playing may have helped but hindsight is a beautiful thing.
The only time Chapman got his head out his arse and got round his man he failed to pick anyone out and the chance had gone, the ball broke and bell looked odds on to make it 1st with keeper running out but there number 1 made it just before so bell just smashed into him something I would never do…..
Other highlights( yep we really where that bad) wince le blanc cutting his forecourt and still managing to shoulder everything that’s how shit there forwards for oh and Jim ‘quinn’ martin running 30 yards for a header which in mind air I said to who ever was near to me ‘’ he’s never getting to that”…. He didn’t!!
Truth be told without Kenny ‘cech’ we would have been smashed 6-8 nil he was top draw in goal M.O.M easy!!
