Away league match played on 25 September 2022.
Kicked off at 10:00 AM

Luke didn't have much to do really only face two shots of any ilk. The goal wasn't much he could do about as it was played across for a tap in. Dealt with corners well. Scared us a few times with using his feet but we live and learn overall a solid performance and this is all you want from a keeper over a season as long as the correct choices are made to which a keeper will always get scrutinized against even if he makes 100 saves but makes one choice wrong people will only comment on the 1 mistake it's a lot of pressure and Luke is stepping up too that without realising which again shows his dedication too the role

Alex had a solid game with some great runs from midfield to attack with driving runs which we have been working hard on. Had some big tackles and played some great balls through to the front two. Worked his socks off in a number of positions and was voted man of the match by the players.

Leo came in for his first game of the season and was back at it like he hadn't been away. Made some big tackles and some very big clearances nice to have the rock back.

Reeve played in two positions today and excelled in both some great balls over the top to start the counter attack. Felt he made a mistake and took it to heart the brilliant thing about this is it isn't a mistake it's just a case of learning which he did straight away and showed the passion he has for playing by being wound up at himself for it. Shows a lot of heart and what we love to see.

Levi had some great link up play from the middle and driving forward with a few slinky runs and looking to get the forward plays moving and making something happen another tough game due to the physical nature of it and Levi excelled in this.

Taaj showing how much he has pushed on by playing the game with a sense of assurance and confidence to which we have seen him grow into. Made some good runs and was always looking to get forward and link up again with the front two. Brilliant assured performance.

Harley brings an Alonso'esque style to the game he's always calm on the ball and has a knack at being able to read the play before it even happens and is in the right place at the right time nine times out of ten. Broke the play up really well and again was looking for the pass to go forward.

Logan as usual a full bodied attack of the game getting stuck in with tackles and causing all sorts of issues down the wing with his hustle and bustle displays to which we have become acostomed too.

Tom had another great game running in-between the lines and always looking to receive the ball to run at defenders had some brilliant touches to bring the ball down and break which was brilliant and again looking to get the pass off and tested the keeper multiple times

Henley came on and caused all sorts of drama up top by his running into the right places and his listening skills got him the easiest of tap ins which wouldn't of happend if he hadn't of listened. One major thing of note for this performance was that he didn't shy from any of the big players who were kicking lumps and actually took three players to take him down on the edge of the box.

Arthur had some brilliant runs up top and his pace alone is something that can't be coached he will be adding to his tally through the season with double figures if he keeps this up as he jinks inside and out. Very unlucky to not get on the scoresheet

Jacob did very well in a game which just wasn't his style. It was very rough and tumble and I think he found that he has the skill to take on power as he did when he got snapped from behind being clean through. Hit a wonder free kick that the keeper just couldn't deal with and always nice to get a last minute winner

This was a tough game for the boys but one they stepped up too very well. We maybe lost our passing play but you have to adapt to what is Infront of you sometimes and it wasn't as clean as last Sunday but a full bloodied effort by all of the boys again.

Isn't it nice to get a last minute winner though when they play like that.
