Away league match played on 04 May 2015.

The SSAFC on their first visit to a football league ground ran out comfortable 7-2 winners on a warm bank holiday monday on what was a very wide but very smooth Kingsmeadow pitch, the home of AFC Wimbledon & Kingstonian.

It could have started badly for the SSAFC when Wimbledon had a shout for a penalty turned down and early pressure from Wimbledon was dealt with by the SSAFC defence with Rowe and Barker at the back clearing up any attacks. The SSAFC then started to attack with Dunn and Wedge having good chances go wide but it was Wimbledon who should have taken the lead when a throughball found their winger and one on one found a great save from Stephenson to push it wide and keep the score level. That sparked the SSAFC into life and took the lead from the spot when good play from Wedge on the left found Chesworth who's attempted lob over a defender found the arm of him, penalty! Teale tucked away the penalty to reach 30 goals for the season, a marvellous achievement.

It was then another in quick succesion when a long clearance from Jefferies wasnt dealt with by the Wimbledon back line and Wedge hunted down the ball and got it before slotting in to make it 2-0. The SSAFC looked in dominating mode and waves of attacks came before the 3rd goal came after a quick counter attack found Wedge on the left after a ball from Bell, Wedge attempted to lob the keeper who got a hand to it but went to Teale who went past the keeper and lobbed the ball over 2 covering players, a real classy goal from that man Teale! The SSAFC looked dangerous for a 20 min spell and more goals followed when Chesworth found Wedge who took on 3 men, beat them and with the outside of his left foot found the bottom right hand corner to make it 4-0. A classy strike.

The 5th came just before h/t when Teale was found in the box after Dunn's hard work and slotted easily pass the keeper. It was a case of a class 20 minutes from the SSAFC and it ended up being 5-0 at h/t.

The SSAFC once again started slowly and conceded after a corner wasnt cleared properly with the ball looping in the air and hitting the bar straight to their striker who slammed it home, a bit of luck for the Wombles when the ball fell kindly! The SSAFC looked for a reaction and got it 10 minutes later when good play from Marcus McKechnie on the left found space and cut back for Devall who smashed the ball home to make it 6-1. The SSAFC kept attacking with Stephenson wasting good chances and Teale firing just wide, Jeorge Wedge then had a glancing header go narrowly wide. Wimbledon kept going and had a few shots which went wide not testing Bell who was in goal for the second half.

The second half turned into a bit of a slow affair with both sides tiring on a big pitch and chances wasted by the SSAFC until the 7th came when Marcus again with good work on the left found Teale who's scuffed shot rolled into the far corner. Wombles tho got another goal when a mix up by Barker & Dutton who was in goal found their striker who lobbed over Dutton in goal, a bit of a mix-up but nothing that was too costly. The game ended up being a tiring affair with little in the way of attacking in the last moments and ended up 7-2 to the SSAFC.
