Home league match played on 15 December 2013.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

A great physical test for thrybergh top club today against a very strong brinsworth sidings team, With 16 players available for selection it was a tough call for me after the 11 nil hammering of green dragon last week the formation stayed the same 4 2 3 1 and the chosen line up was

jamie in goal, a bk 4 of squires rob harrison kyle and scott,  the same 2 holding midfielders as last week was ryan and tom the attacking midfield 3 was rougvie brunyee and jonni with parkey as the target man, A very strong bench of jimmy karl abass warbo and conlon.

On loss of the TOSS sidings decided to kick up the slope first half which i thought was a great result for us with the wind blowing that direction wud give us a 2nd half advantage, we set off a little slow and sidings was having a decent amount of the ball but not really troubling our goal they ad a header that was well over the bar and a long range effort that housley was equal to with a great diving save 1 close moment they ad when there striker found himself clear infront of goal but a great covering challenge from rob saved the day,  we started getting into the game and played sum good football and after putting pressure on there bk 4 with a neat turn from rougvie ball bounced up of there player and struck his arm clear penalty, 0-0 big game bit of pressure can the skipper deliver ? No problem sending keeper wrong way 1-0, We kicked on after that and really started turning the screw playing some great football some great hold up play by parkey and neat lay off to brunyee who gave there keeper no chance 2-, that was the scoreline that took us into the break,

2nd half we set off on the front foot and shoulda made it 3 when tom had the ball in the net but was ruled out harshley for handball, However tom didnt have to wait long to register a goal and make it 3-0 with a little goal mouth scramble he drilled the ball hard and low  giving keeper no chance.  First change came with warbo a straight swap for jonni who had a deadleg from early in the first half and was now struggling, we was well ontop and you could see the mardiness coming from the sidings lads and it wasnt long b4 1 had a kick out and saw red, a cheap headbut by there player on parkey whilst ref wasnt looking showed there poor attitude as a team, they couldnt handle us all day 2nd change saw jimmy replace the goalscoring defensive midfielder tom.  We put nail in there coffin when rob plays warbo through who made no mistake in making it 4-0, 3rd change came with 15 minutes left to play abass on for the very hardworking parkey, To be fair to 10 man brinny they ad a good last 15 mins a great save from housely from there freekick and some great defensive work kept them out, they got there consolation from a corner to make it 4-1 we ad quite a few chances on the break with rougvie hitting the post. full time 4-1 great win.

I asked prematch to stand up and be counted nesh nothing get stuck in and play our stuff and you didnt dissapoint great result 1-14 today all played yer part well done very proud manager.

On another note were half way through season and  i wanna thank all the squad players thats been here nearly every week and i will be making lots of changes in our final game of the year and giving some of them the oppertunity next sunday.
