Away league match played on 06 April 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

This away trip to manor was always gunna be a tricky 1 as they are a very decent side, The squad was looking quite bare upto friday but with luck scot n kyle became available, and my old mate gurran was also available to make numbers up. Having to change the team round at last minute due to jake not turning up we lined up, housley in goal, squires scot ryan n kyle made up the bk 4, Abass n reynolds was the holding 2 the attacking mifield 3 was rougvie tom n conlon with parkey uptop. leaving a bench of Gurran Jimmy franny and the returning rob harrison after 3 month out.

1st half kicking up the slope and against the wind we set off really well, playing sum very good football both our wingers heavilly involved in our build up play manor was really struggling to cope with them, after first 10 mins furstration was already showing in manor as they was getting little time on ball to do anything with and over hitting all there passes which made it easy for us. We took the lead with an outstanding team move starting from the bk we played through the midfield to the wing into parkey who played a great ball across the box to on coming rogvie who was cool as a cucumber giving keeper no chance as he smashed it into the bottom corner. Manor was still struggling to come to terms with the wind but was always dangerous from there long throws but we dealt with it well. We had a chance to make it 2-0 when mike was clean through but he just hit it narrowly wide of the target. An outstanding save from housley from a long range effort that the wind got hold off just managing to tip it over the bar. From the resulting corner after a goalmouth scramble they manage to get it through the gap into the bottom corner to make it 1-1 at half time which i thought they was fortunate to be  level  based on our play and chances.

2nd half manor upt there game a little and ad a really good ten minute spell were housley again pulls off a couple of really good saves to keep us level, we came into game more and ad a few bk to bk corners but we couldnt make it count, There keeper pulled off a worldy from a mistaken free kick by squires that was heading for top corner but sum how he kept it out. Manor had another decent spell but our defence was excellent and limited them to long range efforts. my first  change came on 60 minutes off came the very hardworking reynolds and on came gurran, We was in inches of taking the lead from a free kick in our own box which was launched down field which manor defence got mixed up with and with parkey running onto it and the keeper rushing out neither got a touch and it rolled just wide of the post. Next change saw the return of jimmy after 4 weeks out with a groin strain with tommo making way. the game was just panning out to be draw with both teams getting tired after both ad worked really hard in testing conditions My last change with 5 minutes to go was to put Rob harrison on for the last 5 after been out for 3 months with a minor stroke replacing kyle at left back. We ad the last chances of game with bk to bk corners but didnt make it count and the ref brought the game to an end with a well deserved point been a fare result on the overall play.
