Home league match played on 16 March 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

The biggest league game of the season so far, saw 16 game unbeaten league leaders WILTON fc visit the ttc sports arena. With jimmy out injured and kyle away working it left me with 15 players to choose from. With the inform abass struggling from a hamstring strain he picked up last week, it gave me the opportunity to give our deadline day signing  mikey reynolds is TTC debut. Lineing up in our usual 4 2 3 1 formation, the 11 was Jamie in net with a back 4 of squires ryan scot jake, the holding 2 was tommo n mikey, with midfield attacking 3 of rougvie brunyee n jonni with parkey leading the line. Left a bench of conlon karl abass and franny.

A nervy first 10 minute start from us saw wilton have quite alot of the ball in that period, they never really hurt us though the back 4 coped quite easy with them as they did all game. There main threat was coming from a long throwings hurled into the box, we got to grips with game and our midfield started to take control of the game. We put them under real pressure for a good 15 minutes with a couple of good efforts by jonni and blocked shot from rougvie followed up by back to bk corners unfortunately we couldnt get the break through. Wilton still dangerous on the break and managed to get them self a corner just b4 ht, with a inswinger to the near post there lad gets a toe to it sending it towards the roof of the net unbeleivably housely gets to it and sum how managers to get it over the bar to take is into the ht break 0-0

2nd half we came out on fire our workrate was quality, wilton was just chasing shadows at time and dropping deeper n deeper as they couldn't handle our pressing and movement. our attacking 4 was now causing them all sorts of problems and you could feel the goal was coming rougvie was giving there left bk a right lesson and was unlucky not to open the scoring with a couple of decent shots that went very close. 1st change came on 65th minute after 4 month out mikey had finally run out of steam but it was a very steady debut performance. On came conlon who moved to the right wing bringing jonni inside just being parkey with brunyee dropping to side of tom as the holding 2. Conlons first mazy run down the left brought himself a great scoring chance only for there defender to get a great last ditch tackle in. The opening goal came from a goal mouth scramble ball eventually drops to tomo who aint gunna miss from 5 yard out 1-0 ttc fully deserved lead. Five minutes later we doubled our lead a great run by rougvie who's shot came bk of the keeper to parkies feet who made no mistakes dispite the screams for offside by the wilton boys. Wilton then started pushing alot more men forward in search of a way bk into the game but there was no way through we kept our shape well and they had no answers to it other than a long range effort that was well wide. A great bit of football with some great passing eventually found the ball out wide to rougvie who for the humpteen time in this 2nd half left his marker chasing his shadow he smashed a rocket that had the keeper beaten but the bar came to there rescue so unlucky. A long ball form wilton gave them a shout for pen when there striker got other side of defence for only time all game but lost his balance under the pressure of wilde chasing him.

The victory become secure with around 8 minutes left  when a sliced clearance by wilton defender fell to parkey who controlled it well, A little swivel gave him a yard and thats all needed to smash the ball in the bottom right corner giving the keeper no chance and securing a magnificent victory and ending there 16 game unbeaten run.

Outstanding performance from every 1 today the spirit the desire the will to win was there in abundance from start to finish well done lads you made me proud today.
