On 3rd October 2026, Tiki Taka Dortmund hosted Breightmet United Tycoons at St James’s High School in a league fixture that kicked off promptly at 10:30am. The home side delivered a commanding performance, securing a comprehensive 5-0 victory in a 70-minute contest that showcased their attacking prowess and defensive solidity.

Tiki Taka Dortmund lined up in a classic 4-3-3 formation, deploying Kamsy Anajemba in goal behind a back four consisting of Seka Sewagudde at right back, Lawrence Nwakamma and Kain Woodside as central defenders, and Nathen Platt on the left flank. The midfield trio featured Yasin Mohammed on the right, Nikita Velicka centrally, and Zac Humphries-Deveney on the left, tasked with both defensive cover and creative support. Up front, the front three were Ayo Bamgboye on the right wing, Noah Rule leading the line as the central striker, and Favour Ajumobi operating on the left wing. The substitutes bench included Oscar Manders, ready to provide fresh legs when called upon.

From the outset, Tiki Taka Dortmund imposed their rhythm. Within the opening minute, Zac Humphries-Deveney attempted an early shot that went wide, signalling the team’s intent to press high and create chances. A good bit of vision came in the second minute when Yasin Mohammed delivered a precise through ball pass, unfortunately Dortmund failed to convert it into a meaningful chance. The early signs were good, with Dortmund showing their attacking intent.

The breakthrough arrived in the fifth minute as Yasin Mohammed’s well delivered cross from a free kick found Ayo Bamgboye inside the box, who calmly finished with his right foot from close range. Just two minutes later, the lead doubled when Seka Sewagudde, playing at right back made a great attacking run down the wing, sent in a cross that Noah Rule expertly converted with his right foot from close range, demonstrating the fluidity and threat of Dortmund’s wide players joining the attack.

Defensively, Nathen Platt made a crucial tackle in the ninth minute to halt a Breightmet advance, while the home side’s defensive discipline was further highlighted by a series of tackles and clearances from Lawrence Nwakamma and Favour Ajumobi between the 12th and 19th minutes. The defensive work ensured the Tycoons struggled to gain any foothold in the match.

An early setback for Dortmund came in the 11th minute when Seka Sewagudde was forced off injured, replaced promptly by Oscar Manders. Despite the change, the team’s momentum remained undeterred. Favour Ajumobi showed his versatility by making a vital tackle in the 12th minute, while Nikita Velicka intercepted a dangerous pass in the 26th minute, helping to maintain control in midfield.

Tiki Taka Dortmund continued to create chances, with Yasin Mohammed hitting the post in the 27th minute, narrowly missing a third goal. Lawrence Nwakamma’s defensive interventions were key in preventing Breightmet from mounting any meaningful attacks, including a clearance in the 30th minute that denied a clear chance.

Goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba was called into action, making a crucial one on one save in the 30th minute. The third goal came just before half-time in the 34th minute when Ayo Bamgboye set up Noah Rule with a nice lay off inside the box, allowing Rule to slot home first time with his left foot.

With the half time whistle going, Dortmund took a commanding 3-0 lead into the break. Although they had the lead the team were reminded about not getting to complacent and not to let them get back into the game like the previous meeting afew weeks ago. Half time saw another substitution made, with Seka Sewagudde returning to the field to replace Nathen Platt.

The early stages of the second half saw Dortmund tested defensively. Nikita Velicka intercepted another dangerous pass in the 37th minute, and Kamsy Anajemba remained alert with a good save at 39 minutes. Three minutes later Kamsy Anajemba was at his best to produced a fantastic double save to deny Breightmet what looked like a certain goal. Seka Sewagudde blocked a dangerous chance in the 44th minute, reinforcing the defensive resilience of the side.

Midway through the second half, Lawrence Nwakamma made a vital tackle in the 51st minute, and Yasin Mohammed’s shot was saved in the 53rd minute, maintaining pressure on the visitors. Substitutions continued with Nathen Platt returning on for Oscar Manders in the 55th minute, restoring the original defensive line.

Kain Woodside contributed defensively with a crucial headed clearance in the 57th minute and another clearance in the 61st minute that prevented a Breightmet chance. The fourth goal arrived in the 59th minute when Lawrence Nwakamma flicked a ball into the box, allowing Favour Ajumobi to pounce on a goalmouth scramble and finish with his right foot from close range.

Yasin Mohammed’s persistence was evident with another saved attempt in the 60th minute. The fifth and final goal came in the 63rd minute when goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba launched a long pass forward to Zac Humphries-Deveney, who volleyed home with his left foot, capping off a dominant display.

Shortly after, Zac Humphries-Deveney was substituted off for Oscar Manders in the 65th minute. Manders quickly made an impact, providing a pass across goal in the 67th minute that created a further chance, with Favour Ajumobi’s subsequent attempt being blocked by the Breightmet defender.

Tiki Taka Dortmund’s comprehensive 5-0 victory was built on a solid defensive foundation, creative midfield play, and clinical finishing from their forwards. Standout performances came from Seka Sewagudde, who contributed both defensively and offensively, and Noah Rule, whose two goals and link-up play were pivotal in securing the win. The home side’s tactical discipline and attacking verve left Breightmet United Tycoons unable to respond throughout the match. Great effort and work rate from the team today, I couldn't have asked for anything more from them. Just want to give a special mention to the goalkeeper and defence today on keeping a clean sheet, often overlooked but just as important as scoring goals.

Well done lads ????
