Tiki Taka Dortmund welcomed title rivals Little Lever Lions to St James’s High School on 30 April 2026 for a league home match kicking off at 6:15pm. Over the course of 70 minutes plus added time, Dortmund secured a commanding 4-1 victory, showcasing clinical finishing and solid defensive work under referee Nzube Ntube’s watchful eye.

Tiki Taka Dortmund lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, deploying Kamsy Anajemba in goal behind a back four of Brajan Staszkowicz at right back, Archie Hunt and Lawrence Nwakamma as central defenders, and Nathen Platt at left back. The midfield trio consisted of Mustafa Farag on the right, Nikita Velicka centrally, and Zac Humphries-Deveney on the left, tasked with both defensive duties and supporting the attack. Up front, the three forwards were Yasin Mohammed on the right wing, Favour Ajumobi leading as the central striker, and Alex Maoneo on the left wing. The substitutes available were Andrew-Franz Nkemka, Ayo Bamgboye, Finley Barlow, Kain Woodside, Oscar Manders, and Inno Maoneo.

From the first whistle, Dortmund stamped their authority on the game. Within the opening minute, goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba launched a precise long kick, which Favour Ajumobi expertly controlled before slotting home with his right foot. This early strike set the tone for Dortmund’s attacking intent. Seven minutes in, Nikita Velicka demonstrated his defensive prowess with a crucial tackle to halt a Little Lever Lions advance.

Just three minutes later, Dortmund doubled their lead through Ajumobi once more, this time rising to meet a corner delivered by Yasin Mohammed and heading the ball in from close range. The striker’s aerial ability proved a constant threat. Shortly after, at the 12th minute mark, Ajumobi again showcased his vision with a long key pass creating a chance, although Mustafa Farag’s subsequent shot went wide.

Lawrence Nwakamma chipped in defensively with a timely tackle at 13 minutes, helping to maintain Dortmund’s grip on the match. The visitors were then dealt a further blow when Alex Maoneo was brought down in the box after some good footwork to get past the defender. Alex stepped up and converted the penalty at 16 minutes, firing a left-footed strike into the net to make it 3-0. Anajemba’s alertness was on display moments later with a confident catch to deny a Little Lever Lions attempt.

Mustafa Farag continued to influence play, delivering a long key pass at 18 minutes, although Yasin Mohammed’s attempt was just wide. The first wave of substitutions came swiftly as Andrew-Franz Nkemka replaced the prolific Ajumobi, and Ayo Bamgboye came on for Nathen Platt at 20 minutes. Five minutes later, Finley Barlow replaced Zac Humphries-Deveney, signalling Dortmund’s intent to maintain energy and control.

Little Lever Lions managed to pull one back at 27 minutes, providing a glimmer of hope, but Dortmund’s dominance was undiminished. Yasin Mohammed’s shot was saved at 30 minutes, and Archie Hunt’s interception at 32 minutes prevented a dangerous opportunity for the visitors. The half concluded at 35 minutes with Dortmund taking a well deserved 3-1 lead. Dortmund made two substitutions at half time with Oscar Manders replacing Yasin Mohammed, and Kain Woodside came on for Nikita Velicka.

The second half began with a defensive tackle from Mustafa Farag at 36 minutes and another from Oscar Manders at 39 minutes, both helping to stifle Little Lever Lions’ advances. At 46 minutes, Kain Woodside played a good long pass that unfortunately didn't result in a chance, but Dortmund’s fluidity remained evident. The 49th minute saw Andrew-Franz Nkemka get on the scoresheet, finishing a close-range team move with a right-footed strike following a cross from Alex Maoneo who had been a constant threat down the left.

Lawrence Nwakamma’s defensive solidity was again on display at 52 minutes with a crucial tackle to prevent a scoring chance. Substitutions continued as Favour Ajumobi returned to the pitch for Nkemka and Yasin Mohammed replaced Alex Maoneo at 55 minutes. Inno Maoneo entered for Brajan Staszkowicz at 60 minutes, adding fresh legs to the defence.

Kain Woodside’s shot was saved at 61 minutes, and Inno Maoneo contributed defensively with a tackle at 63 minutes. Mustafa Farag’s effort went high at 64 minutes, and further substitutions followed at 65 minutes with Nathen Platt, Zac Humphries-Deveney, and Nikita Velicka all returning to the field, replacing Bamgboye, Woodside, and Barlow respectively.

Favour Ajumobi, the standout performer, had a shot saved at 66 minutes before Brajan Staszkowicz replaced Oscar Manders at 67 minutes. Anajemba remained alert in goal, parrying a shot at 68 minutes to deny Little Lever and chance of a late comeback.

Tiki Taka Dortmund’s comprehensive 4-1 victory was built on early goals, disciplined defending, and effective use of their squad. Favour Ajumobi’s brace and overall influence earned him the player of the match accolade, while the team’s tactical execution in a 4-3-3 formation ensured they controlled proceedings from start to finish. Well done lads ????
