Tough game this lads.
Make no mistake Greenwich are a very good side and you can see why they won what they did last season, they were drilled, organised & had some very good football players.
We look very vulnerable defensively from set plays guys I’m struggling to understand why when we go into as much detail as we do pre game with everyone having a set job, maybe it’s something we need to look at as we again conceded 2 set pieces even if the delivery was very good.
After that lads I just felt the game lacked intensity, from both sides if I’m honest & we after a shakey opening quarter did come back into the game & had two great chances to get back into it with Kai and Lemar, really focus on those balls coming across lads and make sure you get good contact on the ball.
Saturday was one for us to really learn from chaps & we want to reach that level, we are competing in a tough division in the JPL starting this week so it’s important we learn quickly from the game heading into the league campaign because they’ll be other teams in and around that level chaps.
The game felt like a bit of a dead rubber which is was so it’s important now the ‘cup’ competition is done we match the intensity we show on Sundays on Saturdays, I have no doubt this will start this week when we kick off our league campaign.
