Away league match played on 05 November 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Well what can I say on a day that was more comfortable for ducks then to play football in and due to our pitch resembling a pond you could argue that the result was a massive bonus.

We managed to swap venues and Antelope kindly allowed us to use their pitch which was their first mistake the second was turning up because for the first 45 mins we played some of the best football I have witnessed in conditions that would have suited the egg chasers we currently share our home with.

The pitch was cutting up after the first 10 mins and once Ash got his first then the shackles well and truly came off.

I have to admit I was worried after last week the events did knock us about a bit and the fact we lost Jase during the warm up with a thigh injury only highlighted my concerns.

Gav stepped in to C/Back alongside Adam Maltby and the pair of them soaked up everything Antelope could throw at us.

Fill and Joss in the middle just played pass after pass up to Sam and Stace who delivered great balls into the danger area time and time again, The work rate from Ross and Ash was amazing and Ash who I beleive is all loved up at the moment was latching onto everything. 5 goals in one match some return he had got his hatrick before half time.

Second half was much the same we nicked another 2 just after the break and Stace did his best to a Dan Brown with what I think was meant to be a cross field pass which cannoned off our own post and was promptly dealt with by Simon thank god,

Joss latched onto to a deftly flighted through ball to volley past the keeper and they nicked a consolation goal through Connor Betts yes teh very same Connor Betts who only  a week ago was supposed to be signing for us. (if I was him I would sack his agent) shocking decsion by the lad to join the Antelope.

In faieness though they didnt give up and as we tired the conditions really taking their toll we finnished the game comfortably, the ghost of last week exorcised I hope and back to playing football again, and Antelope are not a bad side they to played their part in a good game in Shiiite conditions.

So man of the match has to be Bradders A complete footballing performance he scored with his head as well as his feet Stace and Joss providing the Ammo Adam Maltby too, but we are playing with a purpose we are playing some really good controlled football Matty S is getting better each week and Tom is really making left back his own position. We will miss him next week when he is away.

The down side though is we lost Ross to injury again a knock to his already damaged Knee put pay to his game 20 mins from the end which was disappointing as he to was having a great game linking well with Ash and providing plenty of options for a midfield to aim for.

I hope Ross the knee recovers for the weekend.

So another great win a stylish win and one we take into our next game Tiddington away in the cup.

Well done lad's I have only just thawed out though.
