Home league match played on 13 November 2011.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

After last weeks mammoth performance this was always going to be a tricky fixture for us and the scoreline does not reflect the game at all.

We dominated from start to finnish and at times our passing and interplay was excellent, however our finnishing was leaving a lot to be desired.

Yes the pitch didnt help, We recently have had a bit of rain and that in turn has meant the pitch has got softer and cut up more, but were still guilty of some glaring misses certainly in the first half.

The break through came when we worked the ball well from the back into Midfiled Adam Hughes and Stacey heavily involved and the finnish from Joe was decisive and I expected us to kick on from there settle a bit and start to play our game.

We had anothe thre or four chances before  the end of the first half but from a corner we had won at the opposite end they broke and scored a descent goal to level the score just before half time.

This was to be hinest cruel we had dominated and got punished but hey that's football I am afraid we have to put teams to bed nice an early and focus for the full 90 minutes.

We came out second half and started to move the ball aboit a lot better we had a chance in the first two minutes when a great run from stacey down the left saw his cross delivered into the box only for Ross to shoot wide. Admittedly it he had to hit it on the turn but it goes down as another chance gone begging.

Dan who went in goal for us had very little to do and credit to our defence for protecting him at corners and throw ins and in fairness to dan whenever he was asked to come and collect the ball he did it confidently and competently so well done Dan and thanks fopr stepping in mate.

At a quarter way through the second half we were still level and I felt we were beginning to open them up more and the breakthrough finally came when teh ball was held up by Ross and delivered into the box for Wes to bang home from close range, that was what we needed and afetr bringing on Sam and Matty fro Stevie and Wes teh fresh legs settled us further Sam had a good debut and Matty Haycock played sensible football and worked well with Matty Saunders down the Right hand side.

Ashley Bradbrooke came on fro Ross with about 15 mins to go and looked lively, Going close twice himself before having a free kick well saved and Matty Haycock drifted in to seal all  three points from the rebound.

So all in all a good result and a difficult game for us to over come. The lad's deserve a lot of credit for the work rate put in and sometimes we will win ugly like that but a wins a win.

The effort was supperb lad's so thank you for that and next week we have a massive game against Chadwick End in the Cup so we need to be up for that one lad's but lets dwell on this week a good win overall and a workman like performnce i think best describes us yesterday.

Training Friday as normal all theer if possible please and let's prepare for our biggest game yet Chadwick on Sunday, They remain unbeaten like us something has to give lad's and it aint going to be us.
