Home league match played on 30 October 2011.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

For the first time in a while we have had back to back games with the luxury of a full squad and after last weeks performance where we won the game by sheer hard worl and determination today was different.

We bossed the game from the first whistle and deservedly went 1-0 up with a fantastic solo effort from distance by Stacey.

We then played some delightful football moving the ball well up to midfield but then being guilty of sloppy distribution from Midfield. This is not a criticisim our team like to move the ball quickly and sometimes we moved it to quickly and the ball was short or intercepted by the opposition.

Simon worked hard first time commanding his box from a couple of hopeful punts forward annd kept us level when they did get a shot off only to see it saved comfortably by Si late in in the first half.

In football though at 1-0 up you are never really saitisfied until you getthe second and to be honest I was wondering if we would ever get it. We had chance after chance and a build up play especially with Stacey on teh left was devastating a to times a real pleasure to watch.

Joe and Ross working tirelessly up front created a number of good opportunities but th breakthrough came about a minute before the break when a great piece of work by Stacey down the left sa him deliver a magnificent cross for Ross to despatch in at the near post, With the second goal secured we went into the half time break looking confident and hungry for more.

We started the second half as we finnished the first yes they huffed and puffed a bit and Simon saved again about 10 mins into the second half but we really did start to take control. Stevie and Jason in the middle passed the ball simply into Stace or Ash and after several attempts in the first half Ashley got his breakthrough and scored to put us comfortably into 3-0.

Let's take nothing a way from Stockton they battled on but we dominated everywhere Matty Saunders at the back worked up and down the line with Dan Brown putting a good shift in apart from trying to anilate Gav at one stage but enough said about that. with 20 mins left we made some changes just to give some lad's a run out and rest others and if anything we looked stronger still Lettsy started like a man poesessed and really got into the game quickly and delivered two fantastic crosses from teh left only to see Stevie score but unfortunately he was in an offside position so was disallowed. Hughesy came into Central Midfield and kept himself busy breaking up play and playing nice little passes into Stevie and Lettsy.

Wes came on the right and gace their left back another headache and overall it was a polished performance and what was most pleasing is the football weare playing. It really is a joy to watch. We have pace balance on both flanks and a confidence about our game which Is down to hard work and obviously winning.

Big game next Sunday against Railway in th Cup but who cares let's enjoy it and at least compete you never know we may surprise them.

But lets enjoy this weekend a great result lad's and a big thank you to you all from Dave and I for the effort commitment and pleasure you are giving us at the moment you are doing yourselves and Warwick Juniors proud so long may it continue.

Also before I go thanks must go to Dean and Kim for the food put on after the game, It was much appreciated by us all and a nice touch by the club.
