Away league match played on 15 January 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

At 8.30 this morning when I was deicing my car I was pretty convinced that this game would be called off. Ok we were playing on a 3g surface (whatever that means) and as I left for the match today the temperature gauge read -4. However as the morning wore on and no contact was made by the opposition to cancel I arrived at the ground in beautiful sunshine but very cold.

We had a great session on Friday we moved the ball well and looked sharp and with a full compliment of players two of which unfortunatley missed out today (Michael,Wes) I was not short of options. Lets be honest we had to improve on last week were carless atbest last week and it was important for us to get a first three points of 2012.

We started well with Ross and Ash linking well and Braders had the bit between his teeth early on looking sharp and hungry. Ross had the bit between his teeth also and got himself into several good positions and was unlucky.

Tiddington grew into the game and were unlucky on a couple of occasions with speculative shots which Simon dealt with comfortably Gav was solid at the back and carried on from where he left off last week tidying up well at the back and even bringing the ball out from the back and setting up attacks. A very impressive display for the wanna be Captain..

Our first goal came from great approach play the ball cleared by Simon, Satce ran down the right an Ross flicked on for Stace to get in behind the defender and put the best cross of the gme in for Ash to Volley home from close range just before half time a great goal worthy of any football match in any division.

This settled us down and coming just before half time it allowed us to go into the break brimming with confidence and we started the second haf much like we started the first we ominated all over the park Dan was solid at left back and Sam worked tirelessly up and down the left flank Jason and Stevie ominated the mifield breaking up play an distributing the ball effectively.

It waswnt long before we got the second and Ash will claim it, The third an fourt were just formalities after this but Lettsy getting on the score sheet was a bonus and will do wonders for his confidence he worked hard when he came on.

Fill came on for Jase and settled in the central midfield roll with ease picking up from where Jase left off picking passes with ease and spreading the ball sensibly and creating lots of openings for us.

Tom was solid almost playing in centre mid we had so much of the ball and he was cofident enough to join attacks from set pieces a great display from Tom.

So we win 4-0 an get back to winning ways, we did the simple things today and kept working an beleiving in our own ability. Ultimately we deserved 6 or 7 goals but I will take the four and go into our next challenge, Midland Rangers away with confidence. An all round good display and we must keep up the momentum as we near the cup final.

Well done boys and thanks to Dean,Dave and Neil for there help today,
