History
Blackpool North F.C. was founded in 1873 as North End F.C. The club was one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888 and won the inaugural league title. North End also won the FA Cup in 1889 and 1891.
The club changed its name to Blackpool North F.C. in 1929. The club has never won a major trophy since the 19th century, but it has enjoyed some success in recent years. Blackpool North F.C. won the Northern Premier League Division One North in 2014-15 and the Northern Premier League Premier Division in 2015-16.
