Away league match played on 15 November 2012.

With FC BarcaBoneHer once again missing the midfield creativity and battling abilities of Dave and Sloane, confidence was still high after the 7-0 drubbing of FC 69’ers. This was evident at the start of the game after a good spell of dominance saw Darbinho set through C. Saunders in the first minute who made the opposition keeper pull off a good save.

This confidence the Boners once possessed perhaps turned to arrogance as their formation was quickly dismantled and Los Pollos cut them apart with one-twos and a good range passing. FC BarcaBoneher eventually slipped 1-0 behind, a situation that as only happened once before.

The Boners tried to fight back with some excellent battling runs from Ben Abbott and Kidel respectively. Kidel put Darbinho one on one with the keeper but taking a touch to set the injured hamstring for a shot, allowed the opposition keeper to capitalise on the mistake and the equalising chance was gone.

Los Pollos continued their dominance by playing the ball wide and pebble dashing the Boners goal with shots that were saved in style by keeper Ryan showing excellent reactions and agility. Trouble within the ranks of the FC BarcaBoneHers team began to show and the players’ frustration could be heard. The cracks in formation continued when an audacious back heel made it past the keeper to put the Boners 2-0 down.

Once again the Boners courageously fought back with Peggs using his Bat suit ability to maraud forward and slip Darbinho through, who coolly slotted it past the Los Pollos keeper to leave the Boners with a fighting chance with 2 minutes to play.

With further mazy runs from Pedro and Mr Abbott, it looked like an undeserving equaliser could be found, however, this was not be to when once again Los Pollos capitalised on The Boners formation issues and their striker rounded keeper Ryan to end the game at 3-1.

Currently sitting in 5th of 8 in the table, FC BarcaBoneHers promotion ambitions now look bleak and very much hang in the balance. The Boners face a tough opposition ahead against the Nepalese and with the absence of Kev, Carl Saunders & Pedro along with the continued injury to Darbinho only making matters worse.
