Home league match played on 12 November 2011.
Kicked off at 12:15 PM

The consistant team performances over the last couple of weeks carried on in todays match.

Again a very dominant display by all, Harry being very commanding yet again,Jack coming back into defence with Kingy (who seemed to get up and down the wing with ease today), Jayden Jake and Kyle winning the midfield battle and Lewis showing his enthusiasm once again chasing everything down.

The good thing about today is that it was a great team effort with chances being created and the passing and movement was lovely to watch.

If we were a bit sharper in front of goal we could have been a couple of goals up by half time but sadly it was only to be the one. It came from the ball being won by Kingy, the ball fell to Jake who pushed it into Jaydens path,he looked up and found Lewis in space who then cut in from the left and fed the onrushing Kyle who slotted the ball home past the despairing dive of the keeper. Darren came on for Jake and Jayden moved into the middle and was having a storming game, crunching into tackles and spreading the ball wide when he could.

Half Time - Heyside Juniors (2) 1 Heyside Juniors(1) 0

Pretty much the same in the second half, we told them to relax a bit more and the chances would come,Connor came on to give Kyle a much needed rest ,the defence and midfield were very strong today and it wasn't to long before the midfield won the ball,it was Kyle who broke forward towards the half way line and threaded a pin point pass through to Lewis who's blistering pace took him away from the defender, he took one look up and found the bottom right corner of the net,it was a cracking goal on the run which his team mates all ran to congratulate him on such a stunning strike. Kingy once again stode forward jinking past players and we all thought that this would be the third goal but he did one trick to many and was thwarted. With only a couple of minutes to go a bit of a fumble in goal by Harry and the ball was turned into the net to set the nerves jangling, but the lads stood firm and saw the game out.

Full Time - Heyside Juniors (2) 2 Heyside Juniors(1) 1.

The lads did themselves proud once again, the work that they have been putting into training is clearly paying off. Consistency is key now and the need is to keep this level of football that they are playing up well done you all deserve a big pat on the back for listening to the instructions that were given throughout the game. Bit disappointed that the opposition managers never came over to shake our hands !!!

Harry Allen - Didn't have too many problems apart from the fumble, this won't affect his high standards though.

Josh King - Another gritty performance and found alot of space down the left.

Jack Dowd - Nice comeback after three weeks of not bein here, solid as ever.

Jayden Elson - Stunning effort, played on the wing, center midfield and defence. What more could you ask for? Earned the M.O.T.M. for his display.

Jake Hussain - Sound game mopping up in midfield, needs to get a few shots off more and take a chance.

Kyle Fitton - Up and down all game and scored a nice tap in to put the icing on the cake for himself.

Lewis Bramwell - Deserved his goal and what a cracker it was,ran himself into the ground for the team and should be very proud of himself.

Darren Knebel - Usual determined effort unlucky to have to come off due his bootlaces !! Always gives his all each week.

Connor Knowles - An injury curtailed his game with a nasty challenge on his knee, again unlucky to not get more time on the pitch.
