Inter Menan 0 vs 2 Tidy Star FC

Tidy down Menan! (Again) <p style="text-align: center;">On a arctic cold night with temperatures at -1c Carl Robinson the 3rd choice Inter Menan keeper made his debut and came away maybe wishing he hadnt! <p style="text-align: center;"> <p style="text-align: center;">With crys of "wheres ur hands lanky" the crowd took to Robinson like a Leeds fan in Old Trafford as our debutant took to the pitch sporting a ing goalie top and some childs goalkeeper gloves. <p style="text-align: center;">The game quickly got underway with some fluent Menan passing as the lads looked like they had never had a winter break. They say you are what you eat, and it was obvious Horncastle had been on the mince pies this christmas and Plumpton on the Celebrations!! <p style="text-align: center;">Tidy produced the first goal of the game with an unstopable 25 yard drive past Carl Pepe Reina Robinson who didnt get time to blink as it struck the back of the strangely small goal. <p style="text-align: center;">Worse was shortly to follow as a horrific incident was about to take place. A tidy player tried a pot shot which was travelling at a saveable pace, only for Robinson to attempt a ferocious volley from his own goal which would of almost certainly cleared Mccains if connected.....Sadly he sliced it and the ball nestled in the back of his&nbsp;own&nbsp;onion bag to the sounds of chuckles from around the Pinder Astro Arena..... Shocker! <p style="text-align: center;">To be fair to the Inter lads this did not disrupt their football as they created countless chances which on another day may of grabbed them glory. Dobson was up to his tricks dancing his way through defenders (obviously watched Dancing on Ice Xmas Special) but once again struggled to find the target. Some fans became restless chanting "when the ball hits the fence its not Shearer or Cole its DOBSON"... <p style="text-align: center;">A late turning point saw TidyStars new star man make a rash slide tackle on Plumpton which with another ref on another night in another stadium with another team&nbsp;could of seen a Blue or even a red card! on this Occasion Mr Marshall kept his cards in his pocket. <p style="text-align: center;">Overall not a too disheartening performance as the Menanians held their own and could and possibly should of come away with something. <p style="text-align: center;">The Man of the Match spoils as sponsored by " A Chav's not just for Christmas" was jointly awarded to Patterson and Willan for some tidy play. <p style="text-align: center;">Roll on Hardly Athletic in the Cup next week for a confidence boosting Goal Fest!!!
