Away cup match played on 24 March 2012.
Kicked off at 1:30 PM

A dissapointing result for the Saints in a game we could so easily have won, with Boot out inured we were short of firepower up front. We came out flying with Aaron having a chance in the first minute shooting wide when clear on goal, 118 then had an effort sail just over the bar, on 11 mins Aaron was through again attempting a lob from inside the 118 box, he had another chance 4 mins later shooting wide again and then on 20 mins having his effort saved 10 yards out, 22 mins a cross from the right found Aaron again as he attempted a spectacular bicycle kick which sailed over the bar, on 30 mins it was Aaron again with a chance hitting the post before having his rebound effort saved, Winky then blasted a 40 yard free kick which flew over the bar before it was Gazzas turn from a free kick having his effort saved, however it was 118 that took the lead against the run of play when our attempt to play offside failed, leaving two unmarked 118 players free in the box from which they scored 1-0 118, Dede Morrison took a throw in on 42 mins which found the head of Winky whose effort was tipped over the bar by the 118 keeper and Lawrence volleyed from 30 yards which went just over the bar as we pressed for an equaliser and Lawrence again had a chance as he turned inside the box and shot just over the bar, right on half time we got the equaliser our play deserved as Ryan pumped the ball up to Aaron, there keeper fumbled under the pressure from Aaron and the ball fell to Aaron for an easy tap in 1-1. In the second half we went from totally dominating to committing defensive suicide as time after time our players stood still with arms raised looking for offside, on the hour mark 118 regained the lead as we pushed forward we got caught with a quick counter break from 118, they played the ball up to there forwards who combined inside the box to fire home 2-1, 70 mins we equalised again as Gazza played the ball into the box for Winky who blasted home 2-2, Aaron then had a shot from the edge of there box that went agonisingly wide before Winkys 25 yard free kick was saved, 118 regained the lead once again on 75 mins when a cross from the right was headed home 3-2, 5 mins later we equalised one more time when we broke down the left as Winky slipped the ball to Lawrence who played in Gazza to score 3-3, 5 mins from time the ball was played into our box and for the second week in a row Glenn gave away a penalty with a needless challenge, there player stepped up and placed his shot wide of the post, with the game heading into extra time 118 played the ball up field Stuarty stood with his arm raised looking for offside which never was allowing them to break into our box and score to win the game 4-3.

Every week the team is told to play the whistle and every week we fail to do so, this week we were cruelly punished for it after a spirited first half which could have seen us 3 or 4 up, however it was not to be and we have to lift ourselves going into next weeks league game againt 22nd A and with a third quarter final still to come.
