In a gripping away league encounter at FC Peterborough, The Hunters emerged victorious with a final score of 1-2.

The Hunters lined up in the usual 3-4-1 featuring Noah White in goal with defenders Oscar Clarke, Riley Merritt and Arthur Jupe completing the trio defensive unit in front of White.
The midfield today was anchored by Oscar Stevens and Cameron Cartwright both bringing some flair in the centre of the park with MOTM Callum Cooper playing a pivotal role out on the left wing and Jacob Wyatt out on the right wing.

Wyatt who was as direct as ever today and had the defence running the wrong way cut the ball back to Cartwright who was coming from midfield hit the ball with a first time strike from outside the box looping the ball up and over their keeper who could only watch it fly in over his head, a superb first time strike for 2.0
FC Peterborough, however, responded with resilience, pushing forward in search of an equaliser.
Their efforts were met with a solid defensive display from Huntingdon, with Noah White making superb crucial one on one saves to maintain their lead.
The second half saw FC Peterborough come out with renewed vigour, determined to turn the tide.
They pressed high and created several chances but were unable to find the back of the net.
Despite the pressure, The Hunters kept them out and looked to hit them on the break using George Smith’s pace which relieved the pressure at crucial moments in the game when FC Peterborough were pressing for a goal.
FC Peterborough were rewarded with a well worked goal 10 mins from the end giving us a thrilling end to the game.
The discipline and teamwork shone through as The Hunters with their backs to the wall had to dig in and literally throw themselves at the ball with Captain Merritt taking a ball directly to the face, who would later need to be withdrawn.
As the match drew to a close, FC Peterborough pushed for another equaliser, but Huntingdon's defence held firm, ensuring that they walked away with a hard-fought 2-1 win.
The performance of Callum Cooper was particularly noteworthy, earning him the accolade of managers player of the match for his display throughout the game.
