The countless hours on the training pitch paid off as the Tangerines dismantled their title rivals TidyStar in a heated encounter down at the Pindar Astro Arena. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Goals from returning Town hero Brooksby and mediocre lower league players Plumpton and Dorey (2) send Menan to the top of the table with only four games to play! <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">A restructured side containing Brooksby, Hawkes and recent beach dweller Greening took to the turf with victory their only dream. The minor league players for Menan were grabbing the headlines, none more so than Dorey as he made it 3. Hawkes under pressure from a rattled Tidystar pulled off a fantastic driven switch to Dorey and he finished with a rasping drive into the far corner to make it 5 goals in his last 2 games! <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The Menan crowd were in dreamland as Gedly Ward and Lovell sparked up their special medicated spliffs in celebration of the soccer they were witnessing. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Tempers began to boil in the TidyStar camp as dummies were lost and sulk mode began to set in.
