Leatherhead completely dominated proceedings against a team that appeared disinterested in competing. Leatherhead were guilty of impatience in their build up play when retaining possession was the prime target. A fine move lead to Joe Peak finishing from 12 yards with a fine first time strike after 12 minutes, making it 2-0 created by debutant Ryan Stewart. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Leatherhead created numerous half chances as well as extending the Fetcham keeper who was their best player, as the game wore on but on occasions the tendency to overplay was Leatherheads downfall as they sought the decisive third goal. On 44 minutes James Blackburn the lost possession in midfield for the umpteenth time, putting his side under unnecessary pressure, and Steve John latched onto the mistake and made in 3-0 with a clinical close range finish, giving Leatherhead an unassailable half time lead. <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp; <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Fetcham struck a free kick to make it 3-1 on 55 minutes, with the injured Driscoll unable to put up resistance and had to be substituted which as well as Will Ashdown leaving injured meant a reshaping of the Leatherhead side. Miles Powponne, a 17 year old product of the Youth Academy made his debut in defence, and slowly the side settled and John made it 4-1 on &nbsp;66 minutes turning his defender before a fine finish from a chance set up by Stewart.
