Ashton FC Tournament

The Ashton FC Tournament is an annual amateur football tournament held in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, England. It was first held in 1994 and is now one of the largest amateur football tournaments in the country.

The tournament is open to teams of all ages and abilities, from under-7s to over-45s. It is played in a round-robin format, with teams playing each other once. The top two teams from each group progress to the knockout stages, which consist of quarterfinals, semifinals, and a final.

History

The Ashton FC Tournament was first held in 1994. It was originally a small tournament for local teams, but it has since grown in popularity and now attracts teams from all over the country. In 2022, the tournament had over 100 teams competing in it.
