Northeast Pre-academy League
The Northeast Pre-academy League (NAL) is a youth soccer league for boys and girls ages 11-19 in the northeastern United States. The league was founded in 2017 and is currently made up of over 60 member clubs.
The mission of the NAL is to provide a high-level competitive platform for young soccer players to develop their skills and prepare for college and professional soccer. The league also strives to create a positive and fun environment for players to learn and grow.
The NAL is divided into four conferences: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, New England, and Mid-Atlantic. Each conference has a fall and spring season, with each season consisting of a regular season and playoffs.
The top teams from each conference qualify for the NAL National Championships, which are held in the summer.
To be eligible to play in the NAL, players must be born on or after January 1, 2004. Players must also have a current USSF player registration.
The cost of playing in the NAL varies depending on the club. However, most clubs charge a registration fee, as well as a team fee that covers the cost of travel, uniforms, and other expenses.
